MEMA’s Physician Practice Management and Business Development Consultants are seasoned healthcare professionals who have deep and broad experience in the management and development of medical practices.  In addition that experience extends to healthcare enterprises ranging from acute care hospitals, to ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), to diagnostic imaging facilities, and healthcare information technology companies.  As a result, our consultants are able to draw upon this experience to factor in the impact of external healthcare service delivery organizations on the problems we address and the solutions we offer to our physician clients within their particular healthcare service market.

We work alongside with the managers & employees of our physician practice clients to understand their organization, services delivery and work processes at the most basic level.

We have comprehensive understanding of and experience with a broad range of Practice Management, Surgery Center Management and related Patient Accounting Software programs to swiftly assess and correct information management deficiencies which are typically at the root of both operational and financial management deficiencies within the medical office.  Our related knowledge of and experience with scheduling, charge entry, receipts entry, accounts receivable management, fee schedules and managed care contracting enables us to correct and maximize the billing and collections function and revenue cycle management.  We also understand purchasing and accounts payable management, accounting systems, payroll systems, accounting controls, supplies and inventory management to ask the right questions and easily identify weak links that cause physician practices to erode profits through ineffective cost management.
